The Workout

We’ve carefully chosen weights and regressions to keep it as fair as possible, regardless of who you team up with.

20MIN AMRAP of:

500m x Ski-Erg
21 x BB Thrusters
15 x DB Lunges (per leg)
9 x Chin or Pull-ups

Regressions:
If you elect to do a regression (regardless of whether it’s one or both partners), your team will have a 2 minute deduction off the 20 minute timer. Giving you a total of 18 minutes to complete as many rounds as possible.

  • Male standard: 25kg BB > Regression: 2x 10kg DB

  • Male trainer: 35kg BB > Regression: 2x 12.5kg DB

  • Female trainer: 25kg BB > Regression: 2x 10kg DB

15x Dumbbell (DB) Lunges (per leg)

  • Male standard: 2x 12.5kg DB > Regression: 2x 8kg DB

  • Female standard: 2x 8kg DB > Regression: 2x 5kg DB

  • Male trainer: 2× 17.5kg DB > Regression: 2x 12.5kg DB

  • Female trainer: 2x 12.5kg DB > Regression: 2x 8kg DB

9x Chin or Pull-ups

  • Male standard: Yellow band > Regression: Red band

  • Female standard: Red band > Regression: Blue band

  • Male trainer: Body weight > Regression: Yellow band

  • Female trainer: Yellow band > Regression: Red band

Split the load as you like but you must complete the workout in order!

Not sure about an exercise?

If you’d love to compete, but don’t think you can do a certain exercise…that’s fine!

You may not be in the running to win first place, but we can provide a substitute exercise so you can still participate :)

The Prizes…

Will be announced when training officially begins for the games at the six week mark.

First place will each receive a prize. As will the pair nominated by the trainers as putting in the most solid training effort!


Additional Details

There is a $50 entry fee per team. This includes one 2:1 PT session for you and your training partner to help you dominate the workout, by mapping out a 6-week training plan!

  • Trainers can’t pair up with other trainers so nab them while you can!

  • We'll also be hosting a nutrition session covering all things food and training. It ties into the Games, but we figured it's also a great chance to build some healthy habits while you're already in the zone! This will take place at our Thornbury studio on Sunday, May 24 at 11am.

  • Friends and family are welcome to enjoy the food, drinks and festivities whilst they cheer you on!

  • The Prime Winter Games are for members from all three studios. The Games will be held at our Fitzroy studio, starting from 12 noon.

  • ENTRIES CLOSE MONDAY 04 MAY 2026
