Join us in sweating, dancing and supporting a cause close to home.
THE WORKOUT: A GROUP CHALLENGE FOR CHARITY
3 challenges and 3 teams: yellow, blue and red - team bandanas to identify you and our reason for moving (i.e. the colours of the Venezuelan flag!)
3 × 8-minute AMRAP blocks, 2-minute rest in between challenges:
Block 1: RELAY
AirDyne + HIITMill
As many calories as possible! Your team has to keep accumulating calories, so rotate when someone needs a rest and another is feeling fresh. There should always be someone working!
Block 2: FOLLOW THE LEADER
Wall Balls + Rope Slams
One person does 10 wall balls straight into 10 rope power slams, then tags the next person in line. The team keeps rotating through for the full 8 minutes. Most rounds wins!
Block 3: IN SYNC
Keep up (or down) with squat holds then push ups to the classic song ‘Bring Sally Up’. The team with the most members left standing at the end, wins!
(hips have to be lower than knee height in your squat to stay in the game)

DANCE CLASS by Jayke
Join us for 20min of dancing to finish off. A fun way to cool down and see the Venezuelan colours come to life!

While the workout itself is only open to members (from ALL studios), feel free to bring friends and family along for the dance, the silent auction and the snacks!

All contributions are being forwarded to “Cadena de Confianza” (Chain of Trust), a Venezuelan civil non-profit charity that Mai personally knows and trusts. They raise money to buy essential items (water, hygiene supplies, medicine, etc.) and coordinate the distribution directly into the affected communities of La Guaira - one of the hardest hit areas in Venezuela.
